Anatomic (2010) An experiment with blood on film, using its moisture to lift emulsion from the surface of celluloid. Rather than viewing the ‘medicalised’ body from the outside in, it views the body from the inside out. In this example of anatomy, the woman exposes her insides to the viewer, an explosive combination of parts that eventually fit themselves back together.
